Lessons in preparation for the L test

Lessons are a minimum 1 hour duration (2 hour for motorway tuition) with 1/2 hour increments to suit you. The vast majority take 1.5hr or 2hr lessons at a time. Its a proven fact the more time spent behind the wheel each lesson speeds up the learning process. Pre book blocks of lessons for discounts. I'm happy to start or finish lessons from your home, work place or college etc provided it is arranged in advance.

Lost confidence in your driving?

If you already have a full driving licence but feel like something's missing,you've lost your edge in todays traffic levels or not driven for some time. Maybe you've simply lost your confidence behind the wheel, perhaps after an accident or 'near-miss', and need a bit of a guiding hand to get you going again. With a few refresher lessons with me you will have peace of mind that you're safe and fully up to date with today's driving techniques and legislation. If you're struggling with a particular aspect of driving such as parking, motorway driving or night driving then we can work purely on that. Whatever the reason, whatever the problem, no matter how nervous let me give you back your confidence.

Have a fear of Motorways?

It can be daunting driving at 70mph for the first time, as well as getting on and off the motorway safely, so once you've passed your test you can choose to have a motorway lesson still in the safe environment of my dual controlled car. Motorway driving is a totally different style of driving to the roads you will have been used to as a learner driver, many pupils choose to have a motorway lesson to boost their confidence and knowledge.

Pass Plus
Pass Plus is a training course specifically aimed at new drivers, designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry. Pass Plus will build upon your existing skills and knowledge, it will teach you how to anticipate, plan and deal with all kinds of hazards, and can help you to become more confident on the roads. The courses is made up of six practical modules which include:

driving in town
driving in all weathers
driving on rural roads
driving at night
driving on dual carriageways
driving on motorways

All lessons use my driver's record sheet to track your progress.
